Bunkers arenโt a strategic answer. Most bunker have flaws. One way in same way out.what happens if something fell on the opening? What happens when someone bulldoze over the escape hatch. What about airflow and water? Really nice coffins.
How in the hell do they think they'll even be anywhere near their bunkers when the shit really hits the fan๐ค For the ones who do, then yes, they'll die down there pretty quickly ๐คทโโ๏ธ
I absolutely love this article. I'm going to save it and reread it often. As someone who spends as much time in nature as I possibly can I love to take hikes in very remote places, admire the awesomeness of nature and think, there are so many forces greater than me out here that could end me at any time. I love nature's true power.
What I do with hope is, I hope my plans to adapt a 3 point hitch to my donkey cart work out. If that hope is vain, I'll think up a simpler hitch and get by with smaller implements.
And I hope it rains on the asshole's parades, always.
As I think you hope to get your atmospheric water harvesting system working better.
This is a superb essay, but I've come to expect no less from you.
My take: Although I enjoy thinking and acting in Jessicaโs paradigm called โreality,โ my own experience adds another element. (Not always โin control of the situation,โ or โabsolutely reliableโ โ like yes, you might โgo to the bankโ with it, just donโt โbet the farmโ on it.)
That element, from my own lived experience, is what many these days are calling โmanifestation,โ or making an idea become โmanifest,โ or โobservable by everyone.โ
(A one-word name for it is, โTransforming something from being a โmere ideaโ into being an โentelechy.โ )
Again, I am not counseling to โbet the farm on it,โ but I have found in my own experience that when I recognize reality, then *enjoy holding* simply a *desire* for reality to exist slightly differently from the way it is presently presenting itself to me, then it seems to have an effect on things in fact working out that way.
Sometimes it will occur to me to take specific, tangible steps that will enhance the likelihood of reality moving toward such an outcome. (One of my students once asked, Do you mean you just โDo the work?โ I thought manifesting was somehow Getting what you want, without *having to* do the work!โ )
No, it means to facilitate (or make easier) an idea becoming an entelechy, or something everyone can see.
Sometimes (unreliably predictably) what happens is that tangible outcomes simply seem to โshow upโ or โappearโ without further effort, other than just retaining the desire for them.
That happens a *lot,* and I enjoy it when it does. I would recommend that Jessica might try it out as well, and see if she enjoys doing it as well.
I've come back around to Taoism after a brief love affair with Tho Tao of Pooh in college. The author ruined it with The Te of Piglet. The Life Wisdom podcast by Words of Taoism has been a balm lately, reminding me why I was so drawn to it in the first place. โค๏ธ
Once they all get down there, seal them in ๐คท
Oh hell yeah, life will outlast them! ๐คฃ๐๐คฃ Most likely, the humble, cockroach. ๐

because they are special and bad things donโt happen to them. Lol

I abandoned โ hope โ a long time ago, it promises but never delivers. Iโm not a cynic either.
I have faith.

Good reading. I never thought of myself as a Daoist but it resonates. TY~
Little Daoism and a little Shinto combined can go a long way. Great essay, great insights. Keep searching. And by all means, keep sharing. Thanks
Nice piece. I suppose Iโm in the daoist camp given how I go about my life.
