I get the frustration, I read the article. I did not even glance at the plug, I relocated to a place with spring water and ponds, put in a deep well with a backup handpump and called it good. But I will give him props for one thing: it’s a great intro to honest prepping. Most people will (and are) buying some cans, a lifestraw and a few mre’s and checking “survival” off the list. You’re far past that stage (as am I, long long ago) so that article wasn’t really for us. It was for the sleeping masses. No offense meant, just my two cents.
It's not such a great intro to prepping if it's peppered with AI slop images and then drops clickbait down at the bottom to misleading guides about water generators, is it? I've had to work far harder to earn respect from readers.
